The Ultra Raptor 3 GTX features a remarkably durable recycled mesh upper. It offers excellent waterproofing thanks to the tear-resistant Gore-Tex ePE Extended Comfort membrane, while still providing the right amount of breathability to allow the foot to breathe.
The rubber toe cap provides additional protection, while the collar with an integrated gaiter protects against gravel and debris.
The midsole has undergone significant updates, for example, eliminating any thermoplastic support to maximize flexibility and thus providing greater fluidity of movement.
Despite this, it still offers the necessary softness and stability provided by the EVA foam, which is especially compact in the heel area for greater shock absorption (which is further enhanced by the Impact Brake System™ technology).
The FriXion® White compound outsole offers maximum grip and also features dedicated flex grooves along its length for greater freedom of movement.
