The Nimbus 28 is defined by its excellent cushioning and smoothness. However, it doesn't feel heavy; in fact, it's 20g lighter than the previous version.
The shoe features a slightly less wide-than-average reinforced mesh upper. At least 75% of the main fabric is made from recycled materials. The front tongue is gusseted, offering a secure hold and improving the fit.
The midsole combines FF BLAST PLUS cushioning with PureGEL technology. The latter is the updated, softer version, while still maintaining its key features.
The foam protects the foot from impact and offers slightly better energy return in the forefoot compared to the heel.
The shoe features a very prominent forefoot rocker geometry, where the midsole curves well before the toe. This positioning reduces toe flex during toe-off.
The outsole combines ASICSGRIP rubber and AHARPLUS materials for optimal grip and wear resistance.
