In fact, it offers several benefits:
- corrective action, where the silicone tie rod, combined with the opposing pad, allows the hallux to be put back on its axis, thus limiting pronation, optimizing propulsion. This action is really very important for preventing injuries and improving performance during walking dynamics or running.
- Protective action: the external rod absorbs all the pressures and rubbings on exostosis (the classic onion), preventing inflammation.
- Support action: the band of the metatarsal containment, allows to limit the adaptation and widening of the forefoot.
